Prerequisites

To successfully set up and maintain a FAR Part 31 compliant accounting system you will need the following:

1.      Access to a PC and Microsoft Excel. Our templates will not work on Apple or Android devices, although you may be able to recreate them on these platforms yourself.

3.      A subscription to QuickBooks Plus Online. Intuit typically offers a free trial for the first month, and then 50% off for 3 months. They have also announced that they will no longer sell or support QuickBooks Desktop.


What this course it NOT:

This course is not the be-all, end-all to teach you every facet of accounting that you might want.

We do NOT teach you generally accepted accounting principles, show you how to reconcile accounts, hold any discussions about accounting concepts like "cutoff", or teach you to analyze your balance sheet or profit & loss accounts for anomalies.

If you do not have these skills, our outsourced solutions may be a better fit for your needs. Our "Basic" accounting solutions are billed on a T&M basis with a monthly commitment of $800/month.
